Friendly

Very friendly, peaceful, relaxing, pitches all with little hedges, if you’re after a chilled out few days this is the place. Did the ‘blue’ walk 12k, well worth doing.

Fabulous campsite

Fab campsite, great pitch size with hedges between for bit of privacy.Reception personnel superb, really friendly and helpful. Originally booked for 3 nights after coming through Eurotunnel and stayed 5. Fish & chips, burgers, kebabs, etc available Friday to Sunday and even locals come out for the evening. Good dog walk next to campsite. Peaceful & quiet with spotlessly clean facilities. 👌👌

Spacious

Spacious individual pitches most with water and electrics. Very clean washrooms. Extremely friendly staff, reception sell basic foodstuffs with daily fresh bread and rolls and a small cafe attached.

Very helpful staff and great facilities

Very pleasant start to our three week trip around France. Very helpful staff and great facilities for the kids. Good sized pitch and near enough to allow kids to explore all of the facilities.

Great Family Campsite

Friendly, big enough to feel like you have space, but small enough that it feels safe for the children to run free and explore. Lovely staff. Good point from which to travel to key sites in the area, or even pop over to Belgium for the day to Bouillon (recommend!). We hired bikes one of the days and explored the local villages. Only really one restaurant within walking distance, Hotel Saumon, which was ok, and handy. Bank, pharmacist and small shop also handy in the village. Lake gorgeous and brilliant set up with lifeguard and pedalos too, though closed when no lifeguard. Take an inflatable or buy one in supermarket! Really good play areas and you can ordwer pastries and bread to be delivered to the shop in the morning. Chips and other things available in evenings, and small shop for basics on site. Toilets and showers clean. There was a kids club every other day whilst we were there and bonfire with wine and marshmallows on Thursday nights.

The campsite is fantastic

Petrie and Tony were really helpful, especially when our son had an accident and also getting information about restaurants etc for us. The campsite is fantastic, accommodation very clean and comfortable and our children loved the trampoline in the lake.We love the outside space and BBQ was provided for free. The Chips Shop is very handy too :) Hopefully able to come again next year :)

A nice quiet camp site with good amenities

The staff at reception are friendly and very helpful, including the service of freezing ice blocks. Loved the frites from the Friterie. This was the second time that we spent a week here and we would like to come back possibly next year. Our pitch was a generous size (No 26) and like others, are nicely defined with hedges in a nice environment with plenty of tree cover offering shade. Water point is conveniently located.

Worth visiting

A lovely campsite set in woodlands with individual pitches. Very clean toilets/showers/laundry and washing up facilities. Great children's play area. Fishing lake for anglers, hubby caught bream. Chips and various meats cooked Friday and Saturday evenings. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. A nice village with small supermarket. A hotel which does good food. Good area for cycling. Thoroughly enjoyable experience and happy to recommend this site.

Great stopover

this is a very good site for a stopover en route to or from the south. we had to leave very early in the morning to catch a train and this was no problem. the toilet facilities are very clean, pitches are a very good size. there's also a chippy on site which when on a one night stop makes life easy. would definatley use this site again.
